For both bioreactors and incubator shakers, INFORS HT offers a pathway for increasing capacity by using the same user interface for each scale. The bioreactors have the additional element in common of the same bioprocess software (Iris) from 0.3 L to 500 L and beyond. This applies to both bacterial and cell culture units.

For incubator shakers, models with differing capacities are available. The ability to stack multiple units is a popular way of expanding without increasing the need for extra space in the laboratory.
